The Buffalo Sabres have made a roster move leading up to their contest against the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight (Feb. 29). The Sabres have recalled goaltender Dustin Tokarski from the Rochester Americans.
Tokarski, 34, has been called up several times during the 2023-24 campaign, but he has yet to make his season debut with the Sabres. Instead, he has appeared in 18 games this season with the Amerks, posting a 7-7-3 record, a .892 SV%, and a 3.32 GAA.
Dustin Tokarski A corresponding roster move has not been announced by the club yet. As a result, the Sabres currently have three goalies on their roster with Tokarski, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, and Eric Comrie. We will need to wait and see if anything else changes with their group leading up to their matchup against the Lightning from here.
