Don Granato provided a discouraging update regarding Jack Quinn's injury following the game.

The Buffalo Sabres got a big 5-2 win over the San Jose Sharks this evening (Jan. 27), but it, unfortunately, did not come without a cost.
Sabres forward Jack Quinn left the contest early due to a lower-body injury. The 2020 first-round pick suffered his injury after being hit by Sharks forward Tomas Hertl. He also could not put any weight down on his left leg following it.

While speaking to reporters following the game, Sabres head coach Don Granato provided a troubling update on Quinn by saying, "It's certainly not day-to-day."
Quinn suffering a lower-body injury is quite concerning, especially when noting that he just returned from an Achilles injury last month.
We will now need to wait for an official announcement regarding Quinn's injury and expected recovery timeline from here. Yet, with Granato already sharing that this is not a day-to-day injury, the Sabres are likely to be without Quinn for a decent chunk of time.
In 17 games this season, Quinn has five goals, 12 points, and a plus-1 rating.
