Fan favorites Mike Maniscalco and Tripp Tracy headline a veteran crew returning to the booth as the franchise launches its new Hurricanes Hockey Network for the upcoming season.
While things are still up in the air regarding the Carolina Hurricanes' plans for broadcasting their 2026-27 season, the team did at least announce on Tuesday two things: a network name and the fact that the full on-air broadcast team will be returning.
Play-by-play voice Mike Maniscalco will return for his 11th season with the team and seventh as the voice of the Carolina Hurricanes and his partner, analyst Tripp Tracy, will be returning for his 28th season with the team.
In addition both Hanna Yates (5th season) and Shane Willis (14th season) will be returning as well.
The network will be called Hurricanes Hockey Network (HHN), however, plans for distribution have not yet been announced.
“We’re excited to welcome back our full on-air talent lineup as we launch Hurricanes Hockey Network,” said Hurricanes Holdings CEO Brian Fork. “Our fans trust and appreciate Mike, Tripp, Hanna and Shane to take them inside the game and keep broadcasts entertaining with insight, professionalism and personality.”
