What's Next for the Blue Jackets?

The Blue Jackets are back in action against the Dallas Stars on, Oct. 21, on the road. They are looking to start a bit of a winning streak after beating the Lightning last night. After that, they will be returning home to host the Washington Capitals on Oct. 24 in the first part of a back-to-back. The second leg of that is against the Pittsburgh Penguins, which could prove to be a big game early in the season. If they can win against the Capitals and Penguins, it could move them into the top four in their Division.

They currently sit tied for last in the Metro Division with the New York Islanders. They have a 2-3-0 record for four points on the season. If they can carry forth the effort that they had last night, they could find themselves moving up the standings, rather quickly.
