    From The Silky Mitten State: Detroit's 3-2 loss at MSG demonstrates the team's need for improved consistency to make the postseason

    The Detroit Red Wings entered Wednesday's clash with the New York Rangers riding the momentum of a three-game winning streak following the team's return from a disappointing point trip to Sweden.

    In delivering a flat performance against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden, Detroit proved that it will need to make significant improvements to its consistency if it wants to find its way into the 2024 postseason, even without Dylan Larkin in the line-up.
