EDMONTON -- Some nights you need your best players to be your best players to win.

Other nights, you need to play a full 60 minutes no matter what that looks like on the scoresheet.

At least that's the sentiment that Edmonton Oilers' forward Dylan Holloway expressed in his post game comments:

"For our team's morale it was huge. It wasn't about getting our cookies or anything. It was about playing the right way and playing a full 60 (minutes). That was just the byproduct of that."

One of the biggest stories coming out of Saturday night's game, is the role that the Oilers depth played. Holloway, Mattias Janmark, Connor Brown and Ryan McLeod all contributed in huge ways to the team's win.

Janmark notched his second shorthanded goal of the postseason. That puts him in conversation with Todd Marchant. Those two players are the only Oilers to record multiple shorthanded goals in a single playoff run.

McLeod scored a goal for the second game in a row. Moving him to the wing has given him a huge boost. Kris Knoblauch needs to keep him there to continue to reap the benefits.

It takes a whole team to win in the playoffs. Sometimes that has to start with the star players. Other times it needs to be the depth. The depth was the story on Saturday night.

They'll need everyone on Tuesday night in Florida.
