The Edmonton Oilers have approached tonight's game in a business-like manner. They obviously know what the stakes are, but they aren't letting the pressure get to their collective heads.
They know that they are one game away from a Stanley Cup Final - something the organization hasn't done in nearly 20 years.

So when the Oilers were given a power play after 3:35 had expired of the first period, fans were crossing their fingers for something special to happen.
Spoiler alert - Oilers' fans had their wish granted.
At 4:17 McDavid scored one of the most electrifying goals this postseason. There is no way to adequately describe this goal than to allow you to see it for yourself:

To pull off a move like that in the regular season is one thing. To do something like that in the environment of a potential series-clinching game is superstar material.
In case you couldn't get enough of that goal, Sportsnet twitter released another angle.
McDavid and the Oilers are off to a scorching start. The expectations of an entertaining game have already been fulfilled - what else could be in store?
We wait and see.
