EDMONTON -- Newsflash, Connor McDavid is really good.

    Like really, really good.

A fantastic example of that was last night's win against the Buffalo Sabres. Despite being down 2-0 the team clawed their way back to (eventually) win 8-3.

One of the biggest reasons for that was McDavid's four assist night. Both of Mattias Ekholm's goals and Zach Hyman's goals were assisted by McDavid. Despite putting up four points on the night, Ekholm stole the show offensively last night.

Last night was McDavid's fifth time this season of registering four assists in one game. The only other players who had accomplished this before were Paul Coffey, Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky.

McDavid has only played 634 games in his career - so for his name to be uttered in the same breathe as several legendary players is incredible. His accomplishments shouldn't be diminished.

The only thing that could make his career more impressive at this point - is a Stanley Cup championship.
