EDMONTON -- The human apple tree strikes again. Both of them.

Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid each had multiple assists in the Edmonton Oilers 4-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings. McDavid added a goal as well to bring his season totals to 27 goals and 95 assists for 122 points. Draisaitl now has 38 goals and 58 assists for 96 points.
The Oilers won a game that was tight for the majority of the 60 minutes played. They didn't turn over the puck much in the neutral zone - and Stuart Skinner was a brick wall in net for them, turning aside 32 of 33 shots.
The Art Ross Trophy race just got more interesting as a result. McDavid is still third in NHL scoring. However, he is only one point behind Nathan MacKinnon and two points behind Nikita Kucherov.
The Oilers have 11 games left, the Tampa Bay Lightning 10 games and the Colorado Avalanche have nine remaining games to play.
McDavid has 16 points in his last six games - you better believe he's going to win the Art Ross Trophy. Some people may have doubted it (because he was no where near the top for a very long time) but it's clear that he never did.
He's the best player in the league for a reason.
