Evander Kane got caught up in the Edmonton Oilers bench on a dangerous looking play.

EDMONTON -- Playoff hockey is physical hockey. It can also be dangerous hockey.

The Edmonton Oilers had a hard night at home on Sunday night against the Vancouver Canucks. They massively out-shot them but came up short on the scoreboard. It was a 4-3 final score - but the shots were 45-18 in favor of the Oilers.
It was a very physical game - to the tune of 80 total hits, 50 of those generated by the Canucks. Perhaps the biggest hit of all game from Canucks defender Nikita Zadorov.

This was a huge hit by Zadorov - and obviously his height grants him a certain advantage in that department. Evander Kane gets knocked into his own bench, and then Zadorov holds him there.
Not to mention that Kane's skate flies up towards Zadorov's head. Thankfully that didn't result in any type of injury.

Either way - Zadorov will probably play with his head on a swivel next game. You have to think that Kane will be looking to even the score, either from a hit or scoring.
