Things are heating up in the Battle of Alberta.
EDMONTON -- The Battle of Alberta tends to bring out the best of the Edmonton Oilers top players. It also brings out the best in the Calgary Flames, as evidenced by the Flames opening the scoring with this goal from Nazem Kadri.

One bottom six player was able to leave his stamp on the Oilers third match up against the Flames - Mattias Janmark.
Janmark hasn't been the most offensive player on the team - but adds value with his role on the penalty kill. He was fired up tonight after Blake Coleman took down Connor McDavid earlier in the night (on Zach Hyman's second goal of the game).
In light of that play, the Battle of Alberta fans were gifted this (soon to be) legendary fight.
With another period left to go, this game is far from over.
