What is the final Oilers lineup for Game 1? Draisaitl and Dickinson's status isn't official, but signs point to both returning for the crucial playoff opener.

The Edmonton Oilers held an optional pre-game skate on Monday and while nothing was confirmed, it appears there might be indications that both Leon Draisaitl and Jason Dickinson could play Game 1.

As the Oilers get set to take on the Anaheim Ducks, the two lingering questions were whether Draisaitl and Dickinson would play, both trying to return from recent injuries.

Head coach Kris Knoblauch wouldn’t officially say anything, but Draisaitl did not take the optional skate this morning, which could be a sign that he’ll be in. So too, both Curtis Lazar and Josh Samanski skated hard at the end of the optional, so it looks like they might both be out of the lineup. That would suggest Dickinson is in.

If this turns out to be the case, the Oilers will have a nearly fully healthy lineup for the first time this season. That is, if you count Max Jones as part of the regular lineup.
