At the moment the Oilers have Stuart Skinner and Jack Campbell signed beyond this season - for both the Oilers and the Bakersfield Condors. Calvin Pickard and Olivier Rodrigue are on the last year of their respective deals.
That has changed as of today. The Oilers announced a contract extension for Rodrigue. The 6-foot-1 175 lbs goalie will be around for at least one more season - as he signed a one-year two-way deal effective for next season.
In 32 games for the Oilers AHL affiliate (the Condors) he has a record of 17-10-4 to go along with a 2.72 goals against average (GAA) and a .915 save percentage (SV%).
Across his entire career, the second round draft pick has a 41-34-8 record in 85 AHL games. Additionally, he has a career 2.83 GAA and .908 SV%. He has yet to play a game in the NHL this season - but depending on what happens in the off season, he could end up getting at least a cup of coffee with the big team.
