Perry Nelson-USA TODAY Sports - Oilers Social Team Fires Back at Rival

EDMONTON -- Bad blood - there is plenty to spare between the Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings.

This was evident on Thursday night between the two teams. The Oilers threw a combined 49 hits - with Connor McDavid, Darnell Nurse, Evander Kane and Adam Henrique all registering at least five hits in the contest.

For the last two playoff runs these two teams have locked horns in the first round. While the Oilers have gotten the better of the Kings - it's not from a lack of trying on their opponent's end of things.

This rivalry doesn't end with the players - it extends to the social teams.

Earlier this season the Oilers were shutout 4-0 by the Kings and their social team had a great post that fired shots at the Oilers.

Kudos to the creativity of the Kings social team - for turning each "o" in Edmonton and Oilers into a zero.

When the Oilers came out on top on Thursday night, the social team had the perfect shot back at the Kings.

This is the perfect shot back at the Kings. Spelling "Los" as "Loss" is fantastic enough - but only capitalizing the "L" in every letter is the icing on the cake.

Well done social team, well done.
