Fans at Rogers Place sang their hearts out for the Canadian National Anthem to kick off Game 6.

EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Oilers played their hearts out, and the crowd sang their lungs out.

In a tremendous team effort, the Oilers forced Game seven by defeating the Florida Panthers 5-1. After dragging the Panthers "back to 'Berta", the Panthers must go all the way back to Florida.

Knowing that this was the last game at Rogers place until next season, the fans came ready. The crowd was blowing the roof off of the building before the team even hit the ice.

Once they did and it was time to sing the anthem, all bets were off. Robert Clark started the Canadian National Anthem. But he continued his tradition of letting the crowd take over.

    The results are goosebumps inducing.

From the video above, the crowd singing is almost clearer than when Clark sang it. It's easy to tell that the crowd was hyped to see their team in Game six of a Stanley Cup Final game.

This is the kind of passion that is seen when a Canadian team makes it to the Stanley Cup Final. Growing the game is great, and definitely required. However, there is no substitute for a fan base that has gone through hell over 18 years to get back into a position to win a Stanley Cup.

    This. Is. Oil. Country.
