Edmonton Oilers are calling up another player.

The Edmonton Oilers will look to just off their first round playoff series the right away - with a win against the Los Angeles Kings in front of a home crowd.

Earlier today the Oilers recalled goalie Ryan Fanti under emergency conditions. Now - they are bringing someone else up.

Philip Broberg has been recalled by the Oilers. He's had a fantastic season for the Bakersfield Condors - and did well in the few games he dressed in prior to the conclusion of the regular season.

The season he's had has him primed to fill in - should any injury arise during the post season.

He finished his season with Condors with 38 points in 49 games while playing 22+ minutes a night on most occasions.

Given that it's game one, I don't foresee Broberg playing tonight. But it's the playoffs - so who knows what will happen.
