Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan McLeod looked like Connor McDavid on his latest goal.
As I write this, the Edmonton Oilers are in the middle of the third period against the Calgary Flames. The last time these two teams played each other was for the Heritage Classic at the end of October - and the Oilers have a bit of a different look to them.

Kris Knoblauch and Paul Coffey are in while Jay Woodcroft and Dave Manson are now out. The Oilers are one period away from setting an NHL record for longest win streak by a Canadian team.
The Oilers have gotten contributions up and down the lineup during this stretch of games - and tonight is no different.
Ryan McLeod continues to prove his long term worth to this team. His speed makes him an efficient penalty killer, but it also makes him incredibly dangerous offensively.
McLeod has carved a niche for himself as a penalty killer and defensive-minded bottom-six forward. After struggling offensively over the opening stretch of the season it's a welcome sign to see him consistently produce. Over the past 12 games he has collected 12 points - he has 19 points on the season.
