The Edmonton Oilers goaltender has played fantastic on the road. This has come in handy in the last two series', with the Oilers being the lower seed. By starting a series on the road it can allow them to have a more business-like approach to their game day routine.
For Skinner, it's allowed him to stay more present during the games. Now, he finds himself climbing the Oilers goaltender leaderboard.

Skinner now has eight playoff road wins in his career. With his latest one he passed Curtis Joseph, who has seven. The only goalies with more road wins in their Oilers careers are Andy Moog (9), Bill Ranford (11) and Grant Fuhr (29). With a win on Saturday he can tie Moog.
Skinner will need to bring his A game for the Oilers to win the series. Since his two game break against the Vancouver Canucks he's been stellar. The coaching staff has tremendous confidence in him. Skinner's teammates have a lot of confidence in him as well.
