For the Edmonton Oilers, some fan favorite players have departed for other organizations (Warren Foegele & Vincent Desharnais) while they have welcomed new additions (Jeff Skinner, Viktor Arvidsson, Matt Savoie).
Stuart Skinner and his wife Chloe will be welcoming their own new addition. The couple announced that they have a baby on the way for 2025.

Chloe shared an official post while Stuart shared the news on his stories. The caption on the post says, "Big brother Beau."
It's not surprising that the Skinners are growing their family. The way that Stuart talks about fatherhood and family lets you know that he relishes every moment he's with them.
Stuart is coming off of a rollercoaster season. After starting the season poorly, he bounced back in a big way starting in the middle of November. He finished the season with a 36-16-5 record to go along with 2.62 goals against average and a .905 save percentage. He is in the second year of a three-year contract paying him $2.6-million per season.

This great news comes after the news of Leon Draisaitl getting engaged to his girlfriend and a week before Connor McDavid gets married. It's an exciting time to be a fan of this team, for more reasons than just what happens on the ice.
