After suffering a beat down at the hands of the Toronto Maple Leafs - by the tune of a 6-3 defeat - the Oilers get a chance to wipe the slate clean against the Ottawa Senators.
With this being the second game of a back-to-back there are typically changes in personnel from game to game. Kris Knoblauch met with the media in Ottawa to discuss what those potential changes would be.

The first change is Calvin Pickard being the starting goalie - despite coming in to relieve Stuart Skinner in the dying minutes of last night's game. Pickard played the last 15:40 of the game against the Maple Leafs and stopped all five shots he faced.
The other surprising change is Evander Kane coming out of the lineup with Derek Ryan coming in. Knoblauch labelled it as something "he could play through" but ultimately they decided it was best to give him the day for rest.

Giving Kane a maintenance day will help him recover quicker and allow him to play important minutes down the stretch - if his play warrants more playing time.
