Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander chimed in on the Zach Hyman conversation.

EDMONTON -- Hockey Night in Canada has a top notch main event tonight.
The Edmonton Oilers are visiting the Toronto Maple Leafs for their second match up of the year. With a 5:00 PM Mountain start time, thousands of people are bound to watch the game.

Zach Hyman, Sam Carrick, Cody Ceci and Connor Brown are going up against their former team. However, with 48 goals heading into tonight's matchup - all eyes are on Hyman.
Oilers fans are rooting for Hyman - as are some hockey fans who don't like the Maple Leafs.

The Maple Leafs themselves, would rather not see Hyman hit 50 goals - at least not tonight.
William Nylander spoke to the media present in Toronto at morning skate. He had some nice things to say about his old teammate (Hyman), "it's been incredible...it's been lots of fun seeing him have great success there in Edmonton. It'll be fun to play against him tonight."

He then addressed the elephant in the room - Hyman being two goals away from hitting 50. Nylander had this to say, "[he's] two from 50 so...not tonight."
It's great to see a former teammate of Hyman's being happy about his success. It makes sense that he wouldn't want him to hit 50 goals tonight, as the Maple Leafs getting two points (obviously) means more to him.
