Patrik Laine scored a power-play goal in his season debut with his new club. He's still available in many Yahoo leagues.

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

    Forwards

Patrik Laine, LW, MON vs. NSH (50% rostered)

A little shocked Laine was previously rostered in less than half of Yahoo leagues, so snatch him up before it's too late. Laine was excellent for the Habs during the preseason but made his season debut on Tuesday following his return from injury, and he looked no worse for wear with a power-play goal in 17:27 TOI. He's a dangerous sniper playing a tired team starting their backup (Justus Annunen) in his Preds debut.

Anthony Cirelli, C, TB vs. SJ (48% rostered)

With Jake Guentzel, Nikita Kucherov and Nick Paul all day-to-day, Cirelli might be in for a big night. He played 24:36 in his previous game, and if the Lightning are shorthanded, you can bet they'll be leaning on Cirelli a lot. The Lightning should provide an update prior to the game following a four-day break, and it's uncertain if any of their three veterans will return.

Fabian Zetterlund, LW/RW, SJ at TB (47% rostered)
William Eklund, LW, SJ at TB (25% rostered)

If you ask me, I think both Zetterlund and Eklund were snubs from the Swedish 4 Nations Face-Off team, as they seemed like a natural pair of wingers to take, but I digress. Zetterlund has been a little more quiet lately but he's generally the safer play because he shoots more often; Eklund, however, is the more talented one and scored the game winner Tuesday against the Caps. This is a tough matchup with the Lightning coming off a four-day break, but I like the Sharks' top line and how productive they've been lately.

Anders Lee, LW, NYI vs. SEA (35% rostered)

Lee's scored four goals in his past five games, including his current three-game goal streak. He's catching a lot of attention in fantasy right now with his L1/PP1 role, and he's been very productive. The Kraken have been uncharacteristically poor defensively lately, allowing 19 goals in their past four games.

Vladislav Namestnikov, C/LW, WPG at BUF (16% rostered)

I'm unsure about Namestnikov's offensive potential, but there's no better spot for him right now than between Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor, though he's stuck on PP2. Namestnikov saw increased ice time (16:18) in his first game as their 1C, finishing with zero points with one hit and one block.

Jason Zucker, LW, BUF vs. WPG (5% rostered)

Zucker skated a season-high 20:54 in a 5-4 loss to the Avs in his previous game and notched an assist, his first point in four games. I like Zucker's new spot with Tage Thompson, giving him exposure to an excellent scorer. Scoring on the Jets will be tough, but increased minutes means Zucker will get more chances to score, and he's usually good for some shots and hits.

Michael Rasmussen, C, DET at OTT (0% rostered)

Rasmussen has been low-key excellent as the Wings' top left winger on L1 and PP1 playing alongside Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond. He's averaging 17 minutes per game over his past four games, and pitched in with three points, seven shots, six hits and even a major penalty.

    Defensemen

Lane Hutson, D, MON vs. NSH (33% rostered)

You're going to do well if you keep feeding Laine pucks on the power play. Hutson's assist on Laine's first goal as a Hab stretched his assist streak to four games. The addition of Laine gives Hutson another lethal option on the power play, which will further boost their offensive production. Hutson already plays a lot of minutes even though Mike Matheson is the preferred option, and he can also contribute in multiple categories.

    Honorable mention:

    Sean Monahan, C, CLB at EDM (45% rostered) - L1, PP1
    Kent Johnson, C/LW/RW, CLB at EDM (37% rostered) - L2, PP1
    Yegor Sharangovich, C/LW/RW, CGY vs. STL (23% rostered) - L2, PP2
    Morgan Frost, C, PHI vs. FLA (2% rostered) - L2, PP2
Simon Holmstrom, RW, NYI vs. SEA (2% rostered) - L1, PP2
Eric Robinson, LW, CAR vs. COL (1% rostered) - L2
