The Sabres defenseman is one of many players with hot streaks on a busy 11-game slate for Saturday.

Sleepers and Keepers Podcast: Evgeni Malkin

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Forwards

Dylan Strome, C, WSH vs. CLB (45% rostered)
Connor McMichael, C/LW, WSH vs. CLB (19% rostered)

Strome continues to be an underrated fantasy stud with another two-assist game, giving him 13 points in nine games this season. McMichael has emerged as a legitimate secondary scoring threat behind Alex Ovechkin on the Caps' second line, registering two goals on 15 shots (!) in his past two games. McMichael has been so good that the Caps are trying him on PP1 in place of Strome, but we shall see how long that lasts.

Logan Stankoven, C/RW, DAL at FLA (43% rostered)
Tyler Seguin, C/RW, DAL at FLA (26% rostered)

It's Round 2 of the Global Series and Stankoven and Seguin should be strong plays yet again. Both players scored a point with Stankoven extending his points streak to three games and Seguin to four games, and it might be even easier to score points this time with both teams expected to start their backups. Stankoven is also expected to remain on L1 with Roope Hintz and Jamie Benn, while Seguin remains with Matt Duchene and Mason Marchment on L2.

Matthew Knies, LW, TOR at STL (34% rostered)

Knies has scored in three straight games and five of his past six. He can be an excellent fantasy asset because of his role on L1, which means the goals will likely keep coming all season, and he also adds a lot of shots and hits. As far as young players go, he's been quite consistent all season.

Pavel DorofeyevPavel Dorofeyev

William Karlsson, C, VEG vs. UTA (33% rostered)
Pavel Dorofeyev, LW, VEG vs. UTA (11% rostered)

Karlsson's minutes has been limited with Jack Eichel and Tomas Hertl ahead of him, but that hasn't stopped him from scoring with four points in his past three games. No matter the role, Karlsson finds ways to contribute. If this keeps up, don't be surprised if Karlsson is rostered in more than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues in short order.

Dorofeyev is an interesting play and might have a lot of rest-of-season value. He's playing L2 right now but with Mark Stone's status questionable for Saturday's game, Dorofeyev might end up skating more minutes. He's an offensive player who isn't afraid to shoot the puck, and it's a good matchup against a paper-thin Utah defense.

Sean Monahan, C, CLB at WSH (28% rostered)

I like the entire Jackets' top line, though Monahan is the most consistent of the bunch. He scored his sixth goal in a 6-2 loss to the Jets, continuing his outstanding season scoring at a point-per-game pace. Unlike in past seasons, the Jackets don't seem to have much trouble scoring.

Rickard Rakell, C/RW, PIT vs. MON (22% rostered)

Rakell didn't score a goal in his last game - the Pens scored only two, anyway - but did rack up six shots on net. As the third wheel on a line with Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, Rakell's job is to finish off plays, and the increase in shooting volume is a good sign. He remains a good streaming option as long as he plays with the Pens' two stars.

Alex Laferriere, RW, LA vs. CHI (21% rostered)

The Kings' new-look third line with Quinton Byfield between Laferriere and Warren Foegele has looked great so far. Laferriere scored his second goal in as many games and Byfield's scoring has ticked up. They have a good chance to continue their scoring ways against a poor defensive team, and I like Laferriere for both his goal scoring and ability to provide hits.

Matty Beniers, C, SEA at OTT (16% rostered)

Might it be time to pick up Beniers? An assist Thursday against the Leafs extended Beniers' points streak to four games, and he's scored practically all of his points this season (six of seven) during that span. The Sens shouldn't post a tough matchup defensively or in net, and the Kraken and Sens have had some high-scoring games in the past. Backup Anton Forsberg is slated to be in net, though he did shut out the Kraken last season with a 39-save performance in a 2-0 shutout win.

Joel Farabee, LW/RW, PHI vs. BOS (9% rostered)

I normally wouldn't recommend a Flyers forward other than Travis Konecny or Matvei Michkov, but it's worth noting Farabee's on a three-game points streak despite limited minutes. He's playing L3 but at least gets PP2, and it might not be a bad idea to take advantage of a streaky scorer. It's a matinee against the struggling Bruins, so maybe there will be more goals than usual.

Jason Zucker, LW, BUF at DET (3% rostered)

I was a fan of Zucker before season because he can score goals and dish out hits, but he did not have a great start with limited minutes. Though his ice time has only ticked up slightly, his production has been significantly better. He's now scored three goals in three games and scored nine points in eight games so far this season.

Ivan Ivan, C, COL at NSH (1% rostered)

Along with having the coolest name in the league, Ivan's also getting some top-tier deployment playing on PP1. Joel Kiviranta wins the lottery and plays L1 at even strength, but the power play is typically where the Avs do a lot of their scoring, and Ivan scored a power-play goal while playing a season-high 18:11 in their most recent game against the Lightning.

Owen PowerOwen Power

Defensemen

Owen Power, D, BUF at DET (35% rostered)

Seriously, what's been charging up Power? His goal in Friday's game against the Isles extended his points streak to six games, and he's quickly becoming a must-roster fantasy asset. With six shots, two hits and a block, Power's a multi-category contributor.

Connor Murphy, D, CHI at LA (2% rostered)

We're a month into the season and Murphy already has the same number of assists as he did last season in 46 games, and the season before that when he played 80 games. All of them have come in the past six games, and while Murphy's usually only good for hits and blocks, the added offense is a welcome surprise. Ride the hot streak but don't plan on it to last.

Honorable mention:

Josh Norris, C, OTT vs. SEA (30% rostered) - L2, PP1
Logan Cooley, C, UTA at VEG (37% rostered) - L1, PP2
Nick Schmaltz, C/RW, UTA at VEG (26% rostered) - L2, PP1
Fabian Zetterlund, LW/RW, SJ vs. VAN (18% rostered) - L2, PP2
Conor Garland, RW, VAN at SJ (13% rostered) - L2, PP1
Eeli Tolvanen, LW/RW, SEA at OTT (10% rostered) - L2, PP2

Jake Walman, D, SJ vs. VAN (30% rostered) - L1, PP2
Philip Broberg, D, STL vs. TOR (28% rostered) - L2, PP1
Ryker Evans, D, SEA at OTT (13% rostered) - L1, PP2
Timothy Liljegren, D, SJ vs. VAN (1% rostered) - L3, PP1
Emil Andrae, D, PHI vs. BOS (0% rostered) - L3, PP2
