It's the Logan Stankoven show in the Lone Star state, but the Predators' red-hot Gustav Nyquist and the Golden Knights' Michael Amadio are also thriving.
Wyatt Johnston, C/RW, DAL vs. SJ (44% rostered)
Logan Stankoven, C, DAL vs. SJ (10% rostered)
There may be no hotter line in hockey right now than Jamie Benn and his two adopted kids. Stankoven was assigned to the AHL Friday but rest assured he will return; at this time of the year, paper moves are common to help preserve valuable cap space.
Johnston and Stankoven, on four-game and three-game points streaks, respectively, are top-tier streaming options against a lowly opponent that has lost five straight with 25 goals allowed, and there is no relief from Kaapo Kähkönen with Mackenzie Blackwood injured and Magnus Chrona their only other option. Johnston's line rated as the Stars' best against the Jets in their last game, controlling a team-best 69.2 percent of the shot attempts while they were on the ice.
Gustav Nyquist, LW, NSH vs. COL (35% rostered)
Nyquist is on a four-game points streak with three goals and eight points. Though there was a lull during the Preds' slump from mid-January to mid-February, Nyquist has been very consistent with at least 11 points per month since October. The Avs have been excellent in their past two games, outscoring their opponents 10-1, so scoring might be a little harder, but note the Avs have only shut out their opponents three times this season.
Tyler Bertuzzi, LW, TOR vs. NYR (23% rostered)
Bertuzzi is not one of my favored streaming options because there have been many games where he doesn't offer much of anything. But, with a three-game goal streak playing on a line with William Nylander, and both of them playing together on the same power play as Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner, there are a lot of good signs.
Morgan Frost, C, PHI vs. OTT (4% rostered)
Frost notched two assists against the Caps, his fifth assist in six games. The most frustrating part about Frost -- and any Flyers center -- is the ice time. Frost's has fluctuated between 12 to 20 minutes all season, depending on the situation, but there's a higher chance of Frost playing more minutes than usual with Sean Couturier now on the fourth line.
Michael Amadio, C, VEG at BUF (0% rostered)
This is all about deployment. After I recommended Amadio on Thursday, he scored his sixth goal in eight games and played 19:27 on the top line with Chandler Stephenson and Ivan Barbashev and playing PP1. He's normally not a point producer but Amadio showed he's got some offensive ability in the minors, and as long as the deployment is there, he's going to get the chances. He's arguably the best deep sleeper streaming option out there right now.
