Florida Panthers home games ranked among most affordable in NHL for families

Florida ranked behind only Mullett Arena last season, which no longer hosts NHL games

An interesting list was compiled this week that ranks the most and least affordable NHL arenas to visit.

As it turns out, hockey fans in South Florida are quote spoiled at the moment.

Not only does the Stanley Cup Champion play at Amerant Bank Arena, but the Sunrise hockey barn is also the most affordable rink to visit in the league.

The Action Network put together a comprehensive comparison of the 32 NHL arenas used during the 2023-24 season and judged them on a criteria that looked at the cost of six different things:

Four tickets, two beers, two soft drinks, four hot dogs, parking and child admission policy.

The only building in the NHL that was more affordable to visit based off of those pricing categories was Mullett Arena, former home of the now-Utah Hockey Club.

Rounding out the top five behind Arizona and Florida was the Canadian Tire Center (Ottawa), KeyBank Center (Buffalo) and Nationwide Arena (Columbus).

On the opposite side of the spectrum, there was no surprise from the building at the top of the most expensive rankings.

Behind Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena was T-Mobile Arena (Vegas), Madison Square Garden (NY Rangers), Bridgestone Arena (Nashville) and TD Garden (Boston).

Overall, seems like life just keeps getting better and better for Panthers fans.

The team just won the Stanley Cup and looks poised to contend for future Cups for years to come and is cheaper to see them than any other current team in the NHL.

    Not too shabby, eh?
