Four-year-old Rue Marchand steals the spotlight in a viral training clip, matching her father’s power jumps and weight routines while sporting a unique mermaid skeleton shirt.
The offseason can be an important time for hockey players.
While enjoying fun with family and friends is crucial, the summer also brings an opportunity for players to sharpen their skills and improve their game.
That’s why the offseason workout regimens for some players have become the things of legend.
Over the weekend, we got a glimpse into the summer workout of one of the key members of the Florida Panthers forward ranks.
Thanks to an Instagram post by Katrina Marchand, we were given a look at her husband Brad getting in some crucial work with an adorable gym partner.
The video shows papa Marchand working with weights and exorcising in his home gym alongside his 4-year-old daughter Rue.
While Marchand was doing some power jumps, little Rue was right next to him doing some box jumps of her own.
Later, while Brad was working with a bell weight, Rue was right next him with a dumbbell in each hand, trying to copy the same side-to-side movements of her future Hall of Fame father.
This may be one of the cutest summer workout videos to come out of Pantherland, but sharp-eyed Florida fans will likely give the nod to Rue in terms of the pair’s gum attire.
While she was wearing what appeared to be a mermaid skeleton shirt, Brad had on a shirt that said Beast Mode a pair of Boston Bruins workout shorts.
Hey, we all wear the oldest rags we have when doing work around the house, right?
