The Minnesota Wild (27-15-4) are back in action tonight for one more game on the road before they return home. They will face the Colorado Avalanche (28-18-1) today for a 2:00 p.m. central time start.
With Filip Gustavsson out with a sickness on Saturday the Wild recalled goaltender Dylan Ferguson to back up Marc-Andre Fleury. They sent him back down on Sunday so Gustavsson should be good to dress.
Minnesota dropped its last game to the Nashville Predators 6-2 and have lost the last three games.
They lost 6-1 five games ago to the Avalanche on home ice and now face the Avs on a three-game losing streak. The Wild have lost four of its last five games.
They will be without Marcus Johansson, Jared Spurgeon, Jonas Brodin, and Kirill Kaprizov tonight in Colorado.
The Avalanche are coming off a win and are 6-3-1 in their last ten games. A Wild loss today would bump them down to a Wild Card spot for the first time this year.
