ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (28-24-6) are back in action tonight as they play host to the Carolina Hurricanes (34-18-6) before going on a brief two-game road trip. 

Zach Bogosian was on the ice for the morning skate but will not play tonight. John Hynes did say Bogosian will join the team on the road trip though. 

There is also no new update on Marcus Foligno or Pat Maroon other than they are still out for a bit longer. Hynes did say he should have an update on Foligno's status by the weekend though. 

Filip Gustavsson will be in goal tonight, Pyotr Kochetkov in net for the Hurricanes. Kochetkov has won eight of his last ten decisions, Gustavsson has won six of his last ten.

There won't be any big lineup changes tonight expect for Freddy Gaudreau taking on an elevated role. 

Gaudreau will be the Wild's second line center tonight and play with Marcus Johansson and Mats Zuccarello. It will be his first game at center in his last 18 games. 

Ryan Hartman will slide down to play right wing on a line with Connor Dewar and Brandon Duhaime.
