Minnesota Wild Could Win President's Trophy

ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (19-5-4) are back home tonight for six of their next seven games. They will host the Edmonton Oilers (16-10-2) tonight for a 7:30 p.m. start.

Edmonton has won three straight games and is 7-3-0 in its last ten games. The Oilers are 8-4-1 on the road this year. The Wild are coming off a win and are 7-2-1 in their last ten. They are 7-3-1 at home this season.

There will be no line changes for the Wild tonight. Filip Gustavsson will start again for the Wild. He is 2-0-0 against the Oilers in his career with a 3.00 goals-against average (GAA) and a .916 save percentage (SV%).

Calvin Pickard will start for the Oilers tonight. He is 2-4-0 in his career against the Wild with a 2.80 GAA and a .909 SV%.

The Oilers just recently claimed defenseman Alec Regula off waivers from the Boston Bruins but he is not expected to play tonight.

Minnesota has done a good job in the last couple of meetings against Connor McDavid and shutting him down. But that has mainly been with Jonas Brodin and Joel Eriksson Ek on the ice for the Wild.

Both will not play tonight. Eriksson Ek has not skated yet since his injury and his timetable is still unknown, according to head coach John Hynes.

Mats Zuccarello and Brodin both were on the ice for the Wild at morning skate but won't play. There is no timetable for either of the two.

Here are tonight's lines (subject to change).
