
Former Wild General Manager gets hired by the New Jersey Devils.
The former Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher has just taken a job with the New Jersey Devils as the Senior Advisor to the President, Hockey Operations and General Manager Tom Fitzgerald
Fletcher will advise Fitzgerald on Hockey Operations matters including player personnel, scouting, and contracts. The two worked together from 2006 to 2009 with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
After leaving the Penguins, Fletcher joined the Wild as the team's General Manager where he worked from 2009 to 2018. He led the Wild to six playoff appearances in that span and had a 359-265-80 record (.567).
The Wild made it out of the first round twice in Fletcher's tenure and have yet to win a playoff series since 2015.
