Matt Boldy was named the player of the game vs Latvia after his multi-point effort.

Matt Boldy has been incredible for Team USA at the 2024 IIHF Men's World Championships. He continued to impress after winning the player of the game award for the second time this tournament. 

Boldy, 23, recorded a goal and an assist in USA's 6-3 win over Latvia on Tuesday. He is up to six goals and 14 points in seven games this tournament. 

He ranks third in goals, tied for first in assists and is first in points. Boldy plays on a line with Brock Nelson and Johnny Gaudreau. The trio has combined for 12 goals and 32 points in seven games. Boldy is a plus-8 so far this tournament which ranks third. 

Marcus Johansson leads the tournament with a plus-10 rating. They Wild are well represented at the 2024 IIHF World Championships and so far everyone is making some noise.
