ST. PAUL - The National Hockey League have been putting together Fantasy projections for each team for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
A few Wild players are projected for big seasons next year according to NHL Fantasy.
Kirill Kaprizov is projected to have a 104 point season next year for the Wild. The star winger has had three straight 40-goal seasons. He scored 46 last year which ranked eighth in the NHL.
NHL fantasy projects Kaprizov to be a top-15 player next year across all categories.
Joel Eriksson Ek had a career high in goals and points last season and according to NHL fantasy he is projected to post a new career high in points with 68.
The 27-year-old center had 30 goals, 34 assists, and 64 points in 77 games last year. He also recorded 12 power-play goals and 21 power play assists with 168 hits, all of which are extra fantasy points.
Believe it or not but Matt Boldy is one of 19 NHL players with at least 60 goals, 50 power-play points (51), 450 shots on goal (482) and plus-minus (plus-6) over the past two seasons combined.
NHL Fantasy projects Boldy to record a career high in points with 76. He had 29 goals, 40 assists, and 69 points last year. He posted career highs in both assists and points during 2023-24.
Mats Zuccarello recorded 12 goals, 51 assists, and 63 points in 69 games last year and is projected to have an even better year during 2024-25.
NHL Fantasy has Zuccarello finishing the season with 72 points. The 36-year-old forward had his second-best points-per-game average (0.91) behind 1.13 in 2021-22 last season and could improve on that next year.
Despite being 36, Zuccarello still looks to be a top-100 fantasy player next year.
No sophomore slump for Brock Faber according to NHL Fantasy. He is projected to record a career-high 56 points during 2024-25. The Minnesota native projects to be a top defender in the league for keeper leagues and other fantasy leagues.
