According to a report by CommonManKFAN, Dean Evason, the former Wild Head Coach, will be the next Head Coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Evason went 147-77-27 in 251 games with the Wild and brought the team to the playoffs four times in his tenure.
The Wild fired Evason after a 5-10-4 start to the 2023-24 season. He was replaced by current Head Coach John Hynes who finished 34-24-5 in his 63 games. The Wild missed the playoffs by 11 points.
It was rumored that Evason was one of three finalists for the Blue Jackets Head Coaching job but now signs point to him being the next Head Coach.
