Wild prospect Samuel Hlavaj has made Team Slovakia's Olympic Qualifying roster.

Wild prospect Samuel Hlavaj has made Team Slovakia's Olympic Qualifying roster.

Slovakia released their Olympic Qualifying rosters a few days ago and Wild prospect Samuel Hlavaj was included.

Hlavaj, 23, was signed by the Wild before the end of the 2023-24 season. He came to Wild development camp in July and impressed. Hlavaj is set to play in Iowa for the 2024-25 season with a lot of eyes on him

The 6-foot-4 goaltender played for team Slovakia at the 2024 IIHF Men's World Championships. His impressive tournament helped him be named as one of Slovakia's top players.

Hlavaj went 3-2-0 with a 2.54 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage in five games for Slovakia including a big win over John Hynes and Matt Boldy's team USA.

The Wild prospect doesn't lack any confidence when it comes to his game and breaking the team bike at development camp likely helped add to his confidence.

He will be a big piece for Iowa this upcoming season and could be a big piece for Slovakia at the Olympics.
