Going to watch the Wild's development camp? Here is who you should look out for.

ST. PAUL - The Wild are set to host day one of their annual Development Camp on Tuesday. Here are a few prospects you should keep an eye on.

    Ryder Ritchie

The Wild's recent 45th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft has a heavy shot and is quick on his feet. He is quite the offensive winger and projects to be a top-nine scoring forward with a lot of skill.

    Zeev Buium

The two-way defenseman slid all the way to pick 12 in the 2024 NHL Draft and the Wild felt the need to trade their 13th pick and a third round pick to move up one spot to draft Buium. The 18-year-old skates like the wind and will be fun to watch in a Wild uniform.

    Hunter Haight

After four years in the OHL, Haight is ready to turn pro with the Wild. He already has a few development camps under his belt and will look to prove he is a step above the rest. Haight is set to go to the AHL this season with the Iowa Wild and will be a fun prospect to keep an eye on at camp and as the season progresses.

    Liam Ohgren

Wild fans got to see Ohgren a bit last year after he played in four NHL games. He recorded one goal and one assist and looked great. This is a big year coming up for Ohgren and the Wild and it will start with a good camp.

    Carson Lambos

The former first-round pick by the Wild in 2021 played his first pro season last year with the Iowa Wild and is a veteran when it comes to development camps. Lambos is a part of a talented young Iowa Wild d-core and the Wild hope for a big year for the 6-foot-1 defender.

    Riley Heidt

Lastly, we have Riley Heidt. The Wild's second-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft had an impressive season in the WHL with the Prince George Cougars and could be a guy the Wild give a good chance to come training camp. If Heidt doesn't make the team he will return back to Prince George where he has recorded 85 goals, 195 assists, and 280 points in four seasons.
