    The NHL announced the award winners for the Hart Trophy (MVP) and the Vezina trophy (Top Goaltender) on Thursday. 

    Winnipeg Jets' goaltender Connor Hellebuyck won both of the awards. 

    Minnesota Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson finished sixth in Vezina trophy voting with two third place votes. The trophy is voting on by all 32 General Managers in the league. 

    Gustavsson, 27, went 31-19-6 during the season with a 2.56 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage. He started a career-high 58 games and posted a career-high five shutouts. 

    The Wild goaltender also received a fifth place vote for the Hart Trophy along with Kirill Kaprizov who had three fifth place votes.

    Come July 1st, the 6-foot-2 goaltender is eligible for a contract extension. He is entering the 2025-26 season on his final year of his three-year contract at $3,750,000 average annual salary.
