    Wild announced today that they have traded forward Adam Beckman to New Jersey for forward Graeme Clarke.

    The Minnesota Wild announced today that they have traded forward Adam Beckman to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for forward Graeme Clarke. 

    Beckman, 23, recorded 19 goals and 33 points for the Iowa Wild of the AHL last year in 51 games. He played in 11 NHL games in the 2023-24 season with the Wild and recorded two assists. 

    The 6-foot-2 native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, played in 181 career AHL games over four seasons with Iowa where he notched 57 goals and 108 points. His contract has expired and is now New Jersey's.

    Clarke, 23, recorded 25 goals and 49 points in 67 games for the Utica Comets in the American Hockey League (AHL) last season. 

    The native of Waconia, Minn., made his NHL debut with New Jersey on Jan. 6, 2024, against Vancouver, and appeared in three games with the Devils last season. 

    The 5-foot-11 forward has collected 68 goals and 149 points in 218 career AHL games. He was originally selected by New Jersey in the third round (80th overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft. He was taken five picks after the Wild drafted Beckman.
