ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (2-2-0) are back in action tonight for their last home preseason game of the year. They will square off against the Chicago Blackhawks (0-2-1) before going on the road on Friday to face the Blackhawks one final time before the regular season starts.
A few things of note. Matt Boldy practiced with the team for the first time since his lower-body injury. He is day-to-day and could play in the final preseason game in Chicago on Friday if practices go well.
Jake Middleton is listed as day-to-day and will not play tonight. Wild head coach John Hynes called it just a bruise for Middleton and nothing that should keep him out longer than expected.
