Jon Merrill received a third-place vote for the 2024 Lady Byng Trophy. He was one of five Wild players to have received a vote for the Trophy. Jonas Brodin, Kirill Kaprizov, and Brock Faber all received votes as well.
Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury finished ninth in voting.
The trophy is awarded to the player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship, gentlemanly conduct, and a high standard of playing ability during the season.
Merrill, 32, finished with 4 goals, 7 assists, 11 points, 30 penalty minutes, and had a plus-minus of zero for the Wild in 65 games this year.
But this year's recipient of the Lady Byng trophy was Carolina Hurricanes' defenseman Jaccob Slavin for the second time in four years.
