Wild take the ice for training camp.

ST. PAUL - The National Hockey League Season opens on Tuesday. There is a deadline tonight at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time for every team to submit their opening night rosters.

Liam Ohgren and Jesper Wallstedt are still hanging around practice and are expected to be on the team by Opening Night which is October 10th against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

"It's hard to say. But I feel like if I'm up here it's gonna be a great experience for me to be around all those guys, all the staff and learn everything," Ohgren said. "So I don't think that's a bad thing, just to be up here and learn a bunch of stuff. But of course you always want to play, you always want to get up in the lineup, play more and all that. So that's what I want. But I think it's definitely good for me to just be up here and learn a lot of stuff."

As of now, the Wild look to be carrying one extra forward, defenseman, and goaltender.

The Wild go on a three week road trip that includes seven road games before they come home for a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on November 1st.
