Mats Zuccarello and Michael McCarron have both been fined $2,000 for Unsportsmanlike Conduct.

The National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today that Wild forward Mats Zuccarello and Nashville forward Michael McCarron were both fined $2,000 for Unsportsmanlike Conduct.

Zuccarello and McCarron's altercations happened in the middle of the second period of last nights game. Zuccarello reached on the ice and grabbed McCarron's jersey from the bench. The 6-foot-6 forward then threw a punch.

Both Zuccarello and McCarron were given two minute unsportsmanlike penalties but have now been fined by the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety for their fight.

The money will go to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
