As the tournament continues on to the medal round play, Mats Zuccarello's team Norway has officially been eliminated from the IIHF Men's World Championships.

Team Norway finished the tournament 2-5-0 in their seven preliminary games. Zuccarello finished the tournament with six assists. He led the team in assists and was tied for first in points with Patrick Thoresen.

Rookie and projected first-round pick Michael Brandsegg-Nygard finished the tournament with three goals and five points in seven games. All three of his goals were assisted by Zuccarello.

Although Zuccarello didn't finish as Norway's forward of the tournament, he still had a great tournament for Team Norway.

Zuccarello and Rossi are the only two Wild players to be eliminated from the tournament. Eight Wild players and John Hynes remain in the tournament and on to the medal rounds.
