Get ready to see Alexander Zharovsky take on some professional hockey players in an LSHL game at 5:15 PM on Tuesday afternoon. Read on for the details on how to attend or watch.

Every Tuesday at Hockey Etcetera (5290 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse (H4T 1C9)) in Montreal, current NHLers and pro hockey players take part in the LSHL, a three-on-three hockey league which allows them to stay in shape over the summer. This year, Ivan Demidov hadn’t registered as a regular, but it’s been announced this morning that both Demidov and his roommate for the summer, Alexander Zharovsky, will take part in the 5:15 PM game.

The two members of the Montreal Canadiens organization will line up for Team Manmade alongside Jake Evans, Zachary Bolduc, Alexandre Carrier, Gio Fiore, and Zach Fucale for the first time. They will take on Team LiveBarn, featuring Simon Benoit, Thomas Bordeleau, Xavier Bourgault, Nicolas Meloche, Nicolas Aube-Kubel, Jeff Viel, and Gabriel Daigle. After seeing what Zharovsky could do at development camp, it will be interesting to see what he can do against players who are either further in their development or already in the NHL.

Keep in mind that the game is played on a much smaller ice surface and that action may come very quickly at the youngster. This may be his only appearance in the LSHL as preseason training starts on August 1 in the KHL. Furthermore, his team, UFA Salavat Yulaev, will host the Republic of Bashkortostan Cup from Aug. 17-20. He was expected to spend 40 days in Montreal this summer and arrived on June 10, so his departure should be imminent.

Unfortunately, all tickets to the event have now been sold, but you can still catch all the action on YouTube on the La Poche Bleue channel. They will be showing this evening’s two games live as Teams Living Sisu and Remi Card Trader will take to the ice at 6:30. The lineup for the later game has yet to be revealed, but the Living Sisu team generally includes Laurent Dauphin, Vincent Desharnais, Raphael Lavoie, Julien Gauthier, Jacob Gaucher, and Frankie Lapenna. As for the Remi Card Trader squad, it includes Mathieu Joseph, Pierre-Olivier Joseph, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Joshua Roy, Tyson Hinds, and Anthony Morrone.
