Incredibly Unlucky Goal Against Predators Helps End Win Streak

The Nashville Predators entered their game against the Montreal Canadiens on an eight-game win streak that had a pretty good chance of being extended. The Predators are in the thick of the playoff hunt and this recent streak has helped get them into eighth place with a small cushion.

The win streak came to an end though as the Predators fell 4-3 in overtime to the Canadiens, but it wasn't without drama. Nashville held a 2-0 lead, and in the matter of six seconds, the game was tied because of a crazy bounce from a shot from center ice.

It is very rare that you will see anything like this happen at any level. The Predators still earned themselves a point in this game and have secured 17 of 18 points in their past nine games. The team is tied with the Vegas Golden Knights with 73 points on the season and have played one more game.

It will be a tough task for the Predators to catch third place in their division (Colorado Avalanche) as they are eight points back, but they can jump the Golden Knights soon and finish in the first wildcard spot in the West.
