HC Travis Green confirms that Ondrej Palat and Simon Nemec will be returning to the New Jersey Devils lineup tonight against the St. Louis Blues.

Interim head coach Travis Green confirmed that forward Ondrej Palat and rookie defenseman Simon Nemec will be returning to the New Jersey Devils lineup tonight against the St. Louis Blues.

Palat and Nemec missed Tuesday's game against the Florida Panthers but for different reasons. Palat was out due to a lower-body injury but was given the green light to return. Nemec was a surprise healthy scratch. Green believed that the young defensemen's game had "dipped in the last three weeks."

Palat will replace Tyler Toffoli, who will be out for tonight's game due to "trade-related reasons."

Below are the line combinations and defensive pairs that will be deployed against the Blues.

Ondrej Palat - Nico Hischier - Timo Meier

Jack Hughes - Erik Haula - Jesper Bratt

Chris Tierney - Curtis Lazar - Dawson Mercer

Kurtis MacDermid - Tomas Nosek - Alexander Holtz

Jonas Siegenthlaer - John Marino

Kevin Bahl - Brendan Smith

Luke Hughes - Simon Nemec
