Former New Jersey Devils forward Jimmy Vesey is taking his talents overseas, as Geneve-Servette of Switzerland's National League has announced that they have signed him to a two-year contract.

Vesey was one of the more notable unrestricted free agents (UFAs) left, but he is now heading overseas after landing this multi-year deal with Geneve-Servette.

Vesey appeared in 43 games this past season split between the New York Rangers and Colorado Avalanche, where he recorded five goals, three assists, eight points, 32 hits, and a minus-4 rating. This was after he had 13 goals and 26 points in 80 games with the Rangers during the 2023-24 season.

Vesey spent the 2021-22 season as a member of the Devils. In 68 games as a Devil during that campaign, he had eight goals, seven assists, and 15 points.

Devils Have Interesting PTO Target To Consider Devils Have Interesting PTO Target To Consider When looking at the <a href="https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/new-jersey-devils">New Jersey Devils</a>' roster, it is fair to argue that they could use more forward depth. Because of this, it would not be particularly surprising if we saw them invite a player or two to training camp on a professional tryout (PTO).
