Former New Jersey Devils forward Jimmy Vesey is taking his talents overseas, as Geneve-Servette of Switzerland's National League has announced that they have signed him to a two-year contract.
Vesey was one of the more notable unrestricted free agents (UFAs) left, but he is now heading overseas after landing this multi-year deal with Geneve-Servette.
Vesey appeared in 43 games this past season split between the New York Rangers and Colorado Avalanche, where he recorded five goals, three assists, eight points, 32 hits, and a minus-4 rating. This was after he had 13 goals and 26 points in 80 games with the Rangers during the 2023-24 season.
Vesey spent the 2021-22 season as a member of the Devils. In 68 games as a Devil during that campaign, he had eight goals, seven assists, and 15 points.
Devils Have Interesting PTO Target To Consider
When looking at the <a href="https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/new-jersey-devils">New Jersey Devils</a>' roster, it is fair to argue that they could use more forward depth. Because of this, it would not be particularly surprising if we saw them invite a player or two to training camp on a professional tryout (PTO).
