The New Jersey Devils added to their forward depth this summer, as they signed Connor Brown, Evgenii Dadonov, and Juho Lammikko through free agency.

With this, let's take a look at where each of the Devils' unrestricted free agent (UFA) signings could end up fitting in their lineup.

    Connor Brown: Third-Line Right Wing

When taking a look at the Devils' current roster, it seems likely that Connor Brown will slot in at their third-line right wing spot. It is no secret that the Devils wanted to improve their bottom six this summer, and bringing in a veteran who provides a bit of everything like Brown certainly should help things on that front.

    Evgenii Dadonov: Fourth-Line Right Wing

The Devils made a solid move when they signed Evgenii Dadonov to a one-year, $1 million deal. The veteran forward should now provide the Devils with more secondary scoring in their bottom six. When looking at a specific spot for Dadonov in New Jersey's lineup, he could work well on their fourth line at right wing. However, he could also swap with Brown and work on New Jersey's third line. Either way, the Devils have options to consider.

Juho Lammikko: Extra Or AHL Forward

If Lammikko makes the Devils' NHL roster, he would likely be an extra forward to use when injuries occur during the season. Yet, he could also work well as a veteran in the AHL with the Utica Comets. Either way, Lammikko has the potential to be a nice depth signing for New Jersey.
