The New York Islanders announced on Friday morning that tickets are on sale for their Rookie Camp Scrimmage are on sale for the game on Tuesday, September 15, inside Northwell Health Ice Center. Puck drop in East Meadow that night will be 6:00 p.m.

Tickets are $20 and benefit the Islanders Children's Foundation. You can buy the tickets through the link the Islanders shared here:

The game is the second of two scrimmages scheduled between the Islanders and the New Jersey Devils, with New Jersey playing host for the first scrimmage on Sunday, September 13th at 2:00 p.m.

Players you can expect to see include 2025 first-round picks Kashawn Aitcheson and Victor Eklund, 2024 first-round pick Cole Eiserman, and 2025 second-round pick Daniil Prokhorov headline the group.

It'll mark the first unofficial games to see Eiserman and 2022 third-round pick Quinn Finley, both of whom concluded their collegiate careers following the end of their 2025-26 seasons, and turned pro.

Players who won't be there include all Islanders' collegiate prospects, including 2023 second-round pick Danny Nelson and 2025 third-round pick Kamil Bednarik.

The Islanders' 2026 first-round pick, Malte Gustafsson, is not expected to attend due to the start of his SHL season with HV71.

It's an extremely exciting youth push for the organization as the Hamilton Hammers kick off their inaugural season with an injection of youth and skill from the Islanders' organization.

Hockey is back on Long Island in just 39 days, otherwise known as Rick DiPietro days until the first scrimmage of the year on home ice.

All told, the Islanders are doing everything they can to make this as exciting of a time as possible for everyone involved with the organization.

The Islanders have undergone a public reconstruction of their identity, from the closed-off, quiet organization under Lou Lamoriello to the sprawling, public-facing organization under Mathieu Darche.

That's continued over the course of the last 15 months and change, where the Islanders reinstated development camp in the first days of July, have an exclusive YouTube series "On The Island" that gives an inside look at every decision that gets made.

This summer, the access has only increased. The Islanders became the first organization to allow fans to design the club's third jersey, an unbelievable opportunity for fans.

That drew over 80,000 entries and now has an expanded finalist format, increasing the initial finalist count from 5 to 8.

After the Islanders release the finalists, fans will vote and select the winner, as forward-facing and public-driven as it can get.
