Former Philadelphia Flyers forward Isaac Ratcliffe has signed a professional tryout (PTO) agreement with the Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings confirmed the news through their training camp roster reveal.

Ratcliffe, 25, spent the entirety of this past season in the AHL with the Chicago Wolves. In 66 games, he recorded seven goals, 10 points, and 60 penalty minutes.

Ratcliffe will now look to impress the Red Wings in hopes of earning a contract of some kind. If he impresses and gets signed, he could be a decent depth forward for the Red Wings to have in their system.

The Flyers selected Ratcliffe with the 35th overall pick of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. In 10 games with the Flyers during the 2021-22 season, he had one goal, four points, and 16 hits. This is Ratcliffe's lone experience at the NHL level.

Ratcliffe played five seasons with the Flyers' AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. In 162 games as a Phantom, he had 22 goals and 56 points.
