As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that forward Tyson Foerster will be a scratch for Tuesday's (Oct. 22) matchup against the Washington Capitals.

Foerster taking a seat against the Capitals is certainly notable, as he has been a part of the Flyers' top six. However, after a slow start to the season, the 6-foot-2 winger is now coming out of the lineup.

Foerster has appeared in five games this season with the Flyers, where he has one goal and a minus-3 rating. It has certainly been a quiet start for the 2020 first-round pick, especially when noting that he set career highs with 20 goals and 33 points last season.

In addition to Foerster, the Flyers shared that Jett Luchanko and Erik Johnson will also be scratched.
